Clarence Eugene Amen was born February 27, 1934, in Washita County to Ona and Thelma Amen, and passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020, at Weatherford Regional Hospital, at the age of 86 years, 9 months, and 29 days.

Clarence graduated from Weatherford High School. He and Barbara met at Falls Creek Baptist Assembly the summer of 1954. They were married November 30, 1957, after Clarence returned from service as an Army Military Police officer in Germany.  Clarence worked in construction, including Sawatzky construction in Weatherford.  He continued in the construction field for several years in Broken Arrow, before returning to Weatherford in 1976, to take over the family farm.   Clarence worked on the farm until 1996, when he went to work for SWOSU in the Physical Plant.  Before retiring in 2011, he became warehouse manager for the Physical Plant.  After retirement, he enjoyed gardening, being involved with his church, Emmanuel Baptist, and keeping up with the family home.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Barbara of their home in Weatherford; his two daughters, Debra Moulton and husband Russell of Fayetteville, Georgia, Anita Fischer and husband, Kevin of Weatherford, nine grandchildren: Jeremy Moulton, Daniel Moulton, Carissa Kulczycki, Kaitlyn Jonkman, Kaisa Leedy, Kaleb Fischer, Grace Zeller, Jennifer Garcia, Jonathan Fischer,  fifteen great-grandchildren: Montana, Joshua, Jacoby, Emmett, Elizabeth, Judah, Ace, Ayla, Lucy, Benaiah, Elsie, Taya, Ezra, Hope and Laityn; and one sister, Phyllis Fadenrecht and husband Calvin of Corn. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Olene Bray and husband Coye, and great-grandson Joshua Moulton.
