Pepper was born October 27, 1960, at the Chicago Home and Aid Society, in Chicago, and passed away peacefully following a cardiac arrest near Seminole, August 17, 2023, at the age of 62 years, 9 months and 20 days.

Adopted at 10 weeks by his parents Glenn and Carol, Pepper lived in Minnesota, West Virginia, Italy, New York and Weatherford.

He overcame dyslexia, attending boarding schools in Texas, high school in Minnesota, then returned to Weatherford, working faithfully for McPhearson Honda and later for Geosite Well Logging for nearly 20 years.

Pepper owned Pepper's Repair, enjoyed hunting, billiards, dining at Jerry's and helping friends with repairs, large and small. Pepper was a big guy with a big heart for people, loved by family, friends and community.

Chris was survived by his caring father, Glenn, sister, Cathi (Oscar) Huerta, five nieces and nephews, Gabriella (Chris) Llewellyn, Micaela (Jon) Niconchuk, Sami (Paul) Weaver, Esteban Huerta, Abe Huerta, and seven grand nieces and nephews, and his aunt, Lois Oglesby.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol in 2021.
