Funeral: 10:00 AM Saturday, September 27th, 2014First Baptist Church

Funeral services for Cherie Lynn Shupert, 25 year-old Waco, Texas resident, formerly of Hydro, Oklahoma, will be held Saturday, September 27, 2014, 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Hydro with Bro. Richard Zimmer officiating. Burial will follow in Hydro Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Cherie was born November 11, 1988, in Kerrville, Texas to James Kent Shupert and Georgia Diane (Pool) Hall and passed away Monday, September 22, 2014, in Bellmead, Texas. Cherie was raised and attended school in Hydro and graduated from Hydro-Eakly High School in 2007. She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2011. While going through school she volunteered at Turning Point, helping at need children for therapy of multiple levels, by horse riding, horse training, and care giving. Cherie mentored foster children through CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocate. In June of 2014, she moved to Waco, Texas to pursue her career with Sanderson Farm with their Management Training Program.

Cherie is survived by her mother, Georgia Hall of Hydro, Oklahoma; her father, James Kent Shupert and wife, Lori of Waldron, Arkansas; her brother, Shelby Weber of Hydro, Oklahoma; her half-siblings, Rylee Shupert, Mallori Horn, and Tyler Hutchens of Waldron, Arkansas, Brandy Boling and husband, Dirk of Hinton, Oklahoma, Autumn and Laura Mashaney Hall of El Reno, Oklahoma, and Austin Hall of Bristow, Oklahoma; her grandparents, James and Nadine Shupert of Heavener, Oklahoma and George and Donna Pool of Ingram, Texas; and her boyfriend, John Charpentier of Waco, Texas.
