Burial will follow at Hydro Masonic under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Charles Allen Kellogg was born February 7, 1946 to Burch and Elsie Morphis Kellogg. He grew up at Welty, Oklahoma and attended school at Mason. He was united in marriage to Joyce Gentry Armstrong on November 21, 1980, and they made their home at Hydro. Charlie had worked as an upholsterer, and later farmed, which he loved. He excelled as a bulldozer operator. He loved his hobby, driving a team of draft horses. He was proud of participating in the recreation of The Run of 89, and drove his team from Caldwell, Kansas to Guthrie in 1989. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend, ready to respond to the needs of others. He loved his family and grandchildren so much. His memory was full of vacations with seven of his grandchildren and weekend fishing trips with his grandsons. His favorite vacation was a trip to Yosemite National Park and Kings Canyon National Park to see the giant Redwood forests. Charlie loved to play cards with Joyce and the grandkids. It was his joy to beat them and would throw a fit and throw down his cards if he lost. Charlie loved his Lord and Savior and attended the The Believers Worship Center. He fought a courageous battle with cancer, but when the Lord called, he went to meet Him with a smile on his face.

Charlie passed away Friday evening, February 21, 2014, at his house south of Hydro surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Herbert; his brothers, Benny Kellogg and J.B. Dodson; and his parents.
