Funeral services for Charles Wesley Warren, 65 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Friday, June 17, 2016, 2:00 P.M. at Grace Assembly of God Church with Bro. Lindell Warren, Aaron Warren, David Garcia, Jack Wilkins, and Carl Johnson officiating. Burial will be held Friday, June 17, 2016, 5:30 P.M. in Cement Cemetery in Cement, Oklahoma under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Wesley was born May 29, 1951, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to Herschel and Palmidole (Stancil) Warren and passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at the DVA Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Wesley was raised on the family farm north of Cement, Oklahoma and attended and graduated from Cement High School in 1969. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served his country from 1971 to 1975. On December 26, 1976, Wesley married Bobbie Joy Settle in Cement and made their home in Weatherford. In 1990, they moved to Minco, Oklahoma where he served as minister for the First Assembly of God Church. Wesley earned his Bachelor degree from Southwest Christian University in Bethany in 1996. They returned to Weatherford in 2007 to minister at Grace Assembly of God Church where he was currently the active pastor. He had ministered for over 25 years. Wesley enjoyed cowboy cooking, fishing, traveling, and spending time with his grandson, Nathan, and with family and friends. Memorials may be made to the Habitat for Humanity.

Wesley is survived by his wife of 39 years, Joy of their home in Weatherford, Oklahoma; two sons, Aaron Warren and wife, Shelly of Antlers, Oklahoma and Jonathan Warren of Lubbock, Texas; one daughter, Sandi Warren of Minco, Oklahoma; one brother, Lindell Warren and wife, Phyllis of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one sister, Karen Olson and husband, Bill of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and one grandson, Nathan Warren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
