Funeral services for Charles Edward Poos, 63 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Zion Church with Jason Ewing officiating, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Charles was born April 20, 1950 in Ojibwa, Wisconsin to Charles Edward and Grayce Eleanor (Weber) Poos and passed away Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Weatherford Regional Hospital in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Charles was raised and attended school in Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended a trade school in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for heating and air conditioning. On November 24, 1979 Charles married Anita Elizabeth Hull in Gilbertsville, New York. They made their home in North Port Charlotte, Florida for 5 years, moved to Oklahoma City for 9 years, and settled in Weatherford since 1991. He worked in the heating and air conditioning field. Charles enjoyed shooting pool, working on old radios, ham radios, and watching western movies. His family was his life and was loved so much by his family. He was a very giving person and had many friends and would do anything he could for any of them.

Charles is survived by his wife of 33 years, Anita Poos of their home in Weatherford, Oklahoma; one son, Jeremy Poos and wife, Sherene of Weatherford, Oklahoma; one daughter, Amanda Rodriguez and husband, Samuel of South Brunswick, New Jersey; two sisters, Charlene Lawhorn and husband, Robert of Branson, Missouri and Karen Suddareth of Ratcliffe, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents.
