Funeral services for C.B. Sims, 81 year-old Eakly, Oklahoma resident, will be held Saturday, December 27, 2014, 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Eakly with Holden McCrackin officiating. Burial will follow in Eakly Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

C.B. was born August 26, 1933, in Oney, Oklahoma to Cecil Bufford and Susie (Jones) Sims and passed away Monday, December 22, 2014, at home in Chickasha, Oklahoma. C.B. was raised and attended school in Eakly, Oklahoma and graduated from Eakly High School in 1952. On June 4, 1952, he married Geraldine Chambers in Eakly, Oklahoma. They ran the local grocery store. C.B. started building houses which lasted for over 50 years. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, raising cattle and farming, traveling to Colorado and south Texas, and spending time with his family. Memorials may be made to the Eakly Fire Department or to the Eakly Cemetery.

C.B. is survived by his wife, Geraldine of their home in Chickasha, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Shane Coe and wife, Denise of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Ethan Coe and wife, Kristin of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Holden McCrackin and wife, Krystle of Duncan, Oklahoma, and Tayler Fix and husband, Paul of Choctaw, Oklahoma; and two great-grandsons, Cooper and Riley. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jan Coe; his parents; one brother and sister-in-law, Max and Willa Ruth Sims; and nephew, David Earl Sims.
