Services for Carl Chadwick Chad Crosby, 36 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M., the family will receive friends at his mother, Carolyn Crosbys home, 117 Lockstone Drive, Weatherford, Oklahoma, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Chad was born April 20, 1977 in Weatherford, Oklahoma to Carl Michael and Carolyn (Easter) Crosby and passed away Friday, November 1, 2013 in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Chad was raised and attended school in Weatherford, Oklahoma and graduated from Weatherford High School in 1996. He worked for United Supermarket and was currently employed with Tautfest Furniture where he had worked for the last eight years. Chad enjoyed riding motorcycles and 4 wheelers, playing poker, watching NASCAR races, and being with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Southwest National Bank, in a memorial fund that has been set up for his children.

Chad is survived by his mother, Carolyn Crosby and husband, Randy Butterbaugh of Weatherford, Oklahoma; wife, Jade Shaffer of the home in Weatherford, Oklahoma; one son, Xane Crosby of the home in Weatherford, Oklahoma; one daughter, Ryan Baustert of the home in Weatherford, Oklahoma; one brother, Chris Crosby of Weatherford, Oklahoma; paternal grandmother, Wanda Crosby of Sayre, Oklahoma; and numerous family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Crosby; maternal grandparents, C.O. and Fay Easter; and paternal grandfather, Bing Crosby.
