Funeral services for Brody Gene Sims, 4 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. in the Emmanuel Baptist Church with Bro. David Lawrence and Bro. Doyle Warren officiating. Burial will follow in the West Mount Pleasant Cemetery of Watonga, Oklahoma, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Brody was born August 3, 2010 in Yukon, Oklahoma to Thad and Machelle (Blankenship) Sims and passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014 at the Childrens Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Brody was born with CFC Syndrome. He touched many lives. He had a six month old sister that he was very proud of. Brody enjoyed doing a number of things such as going to school, knuckle bumps, high fives, taking pictures, and being boss of the Sterling House. He loved his Monkey and took him everywhere with him. Brody liked blowing kisses, flirting with the girls, dancing, and writing and coloring, and loved Bubble Guppies and pop pops. His favorite color was green. His Aunt Ter-Ter was his second mother. Brody is survived by his parents, Thad and Machelle Sims, his sister Machella Sims of the home. Paternal Grandparents; Tommy and Christi Sims of Weatherford, OK, Mona Sims of Weatherford, Ok; Maternal Grandparents; Terry and Janet Blankenship of Watonga, OK and Adopted Grandparents; Blanche Ford and Penni and David Rushton. Uncles and Aunts; Todd Sims of Weatherford, OK, Kevin and Toni Knisley of Clinton, OK, Travis and Karrin Sims of Hobart, OK, Toby and Shelly Sims of Owasso, OK, Tyler Sims of Stillwater, and Brianna Sims of Weatherford, OK, Janrie Blankenship of Thackerville, OK, Rowdy Blankenship of Watonga, OK, Sheena and Colten Hightower of Watonga, OK, and LaTara Blankenship of Watonga, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his Uncle Terry Blankenship II and Great-Grandparents.
