Funeral services for Bonnie L. Roles Sunderland, 97 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Wednesday, November 25, 2015, 2:00 P.M. at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Bro. David Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow at Carter Cemetery in Carter, Oklahoma under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Bonnie was born May 10, 1918 in Cricket, Arkansas to John M. and Rosa Millie (Cary) Peveler and passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Corn Heritage Village in Corn, Oklahoma. Bonnie was raised and attended school in Carter, Oklahoma and graduated from Carter High School in 1936. On February 29, 1936, she married Bud Roles and they made their home in Carter. They moved to Hollis, Oklahoma in 1947 and she was employed at Harmon Memorial Hospital for several years as a surgical technician. Bonnie moved to Weatherford in 1987. On March 31, 1989, she married Woody Sunderland and they made their home in Weatherford. Bonnie enjoyed watching her boys play football and the OU and Dallas football games. She loved being outdoors, fishing, camping, and really enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Emmanuel Baptist Church Building Fund.

Bonnie is survived by one son, Dan Roles and wife, Brenda of San Antonio, Texas; sister, Flo Huffman of Weatherford, Oklahoma; daughter-in-law, Sue Roles; four grandchildren, Belinda Thacker, Clint Roles, Keven Roles, and Mark Roles; and eight great-grandchildren, Lauren Roles, Logan Roles, Craig Roles, Brittnee Roles, Madison Wright, Brendan Roles, Bryce Roles, and Wyatt Roles. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Bud Roles and Woody Sunderland; one son, Ferrell Roles; and brother, Leonard Peveler; and three sisters, Pearl Tatum, Goldie Smith, and Mamie Markham.
