Billy "Bill" Joe Parsons was born June 15, 1934, in Columbia, Missouri to Joseph Benjamin and Grace (Smith) Parsons and passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Brookdale Assisted Living in Weatherford, at the age of 88 years and 29 days.

Bill was raised and attended school in Midwest City where he graduated. In 1953, Bill enlisted in the United States Navy and served in Korea and was honorably discharged.  In 1962, he married Sylvia Curtis and she passed away in 1982.  Bill moved to Weatherford in 1981.  In 1985, he married Marian McCornack and she passed away in 2011.  Bill worked as a pipeline operator for Texas Oil and Gas and Delhi. In retirement years, he worked part time for Cummins.

Bill is survived by two sons, Mike and Tonja Parsons of San Jose, California and Bob Parsons of Murrieta, California; special friends, Jim Pugh and the Steve Antwine family; goddaughter, Heather Himes; three grandchildren, Ryan Parsons, Katherine Parsons and Shane Parsons; and great-grandson, Blake Parsons.  He was preceded in death by his parents and both wives, Sylvia and Marian.
