Betty Jo Thomason was born October 14, 1932 to George W. and Jeffie May (Burton) Seibold in Thomas, Oklahoma and passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017 in Weatherford, Oklahoma, at the age of 84 years, 10 months, and 19 days.

Betty was raised in Thomas, Oklahoma. Her mother passed away when she was 5 years old and her father later married Ellen Wilburg who raised her as her own. She attended Mulberry Country School before transferring to Weatherford High School. On March 4, 1950 she married Paul "Bud" Thomason and they made their home anywhere the oil field took them until they settled back in Weatherford in 1960 to finish raising their three children, Bill, Bo and Cam. She worked as a nurse for many years at hospitals in Weatherford and Thomas, and later working for Dr. Marshall Ingram in Hinton until she retired in 1996 to take care of her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family—especially her grandchildren, volunteering with the VFW Auxilliary, crocheting, and being outdoors and camping with her family.

Betty is survived by one son, Bo Thomason; one daughter, Cam Mullins; one brother, Albert Seibold; one sister, Georgie Ford, two sisters-in-law, Sugie Wilson and Jean Wetmore; one uncle, Bill Wilburg; five grandchildren, Tiffany Thomason Buckner, Cole Thomason, Traci (Mullins) Courtney, Tyler Mullins, Trey Mullins, and Tucker Mullins; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Seibold, Jeffie May Seibold, and Ellen Seibold; husband, Paul Thomason; two daughters, Donna Ann and Debra Jean; one son, Bill; one sister, Alice Beatey; one daughter-in-law, Dawna Thomason; one son-in-law, Gary Mullins; and parents-in-law, Foy and Dordia Wagno
