Mass of Christian Burial for Betty Marie Hamilton, 81 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at St. Eugene Catholic Church with Father Christopher Tran officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home. Rosary service will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2016, 6:00 P.M. in The Chapel of the funeral home.

Betty was born February 14, 1935, to Bruce and Ezola (Boufane) Thibodeaux in Houma, Louisiana and passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Weatherford Regional Hospital in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Betty was raised and attended school in St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana and graduated from Arabi High School in Lafayette, Louisiana in 1954. She worked as a secretary and later moved to Monterey, California. On April 3, 1959, Betty married Jackie Dale Hamilton in Mountain View, California. They lived in Maryland and California before settling down in Oklahoma in 1979. Betty enjoyed cooking, volunteering for college lunches at church, attending church, and spending time with her grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Patty Trujillo of Weatherford, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Trevor Trujillo and wife, Jacque and Taryn Trujillo; and future granddaughter, Ella Rose Trujillo. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a sister, Jane Cole.
