Graveside services for Bettie Myrtle Smith, 82 year-old Hydro, Oklahoma resident, will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2016, 2:00 P.M. at Hydro Masonic Cemetery with Joe Sanders officiating. Services are under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Bettie was born February 11, 1934, in Sickles, Oklahoma to Tom Everett and Elsie Myrtle (White) Smith and passed away Friday, December 23, 2016, at Weatherford Regional Hospital. Bettie was raised and attended school in Sickles, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and in Texas. Bettie moved to Hydro, Oklahoma in 1975. She worked for 3M for 16 years. Bettie enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, deer hunting, being outdoors, and her favorite flower is the honeysuckle. She will be remembered by her family as a hardworker and treated everyone fair and equal.

Bettie is survived by her son, Ronnie Wilson of Hydro, Oklahoma; daughters, Brenda Wilson of Hydro, Oklahoma and Angela Mendinghall of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two sisters, Nettie Berringer and husband, Orville of Hydro, Oklahoma and Hazel Boyd of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford Owen Wilson; and three brothers, Tom Everett, and Lonnie.
