Bernard Francis Boeckman was born January 10, 1954, in Okeene, OK, to Francis I. Boeckman and Mary P. (Temaat) Boeckman and passed away June 28, 2024, in Weatherford, at the age of 70 years, 5 months and 18 days.

Bernard graduated from Okeene High School in 1972 and from OSU Tech in Okmulgee, OK.  He married Lucy McKinney on February 14, 1990. Bernard was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church where he was very active.  He was employed by Unit Drilling Company of Tulsa until his retirement.  Bernard enjoyed volunteering at his church, being around family and friends, golfing, woodworking, and restoring old pickups.

Bernard is survived by his wife, Lucy of the home; stepson, Alvin (Alice) McKinney of Snowball, AR; stepson, Michael McKinney of Weatherford, OK; Heather McKinney of Cache, OK, whom he considered a daughter; grandchildren, Mattea, Randy, Morgan, and Alvin IV; great grandchildren, Kayden and Dawson; brother, Stephen (Joanne) of Des Moines, Iowa; brother, Michael (Evelyn) of Oklahoma City; sister, Barbara Givens of Verden; brother, Richard (Marcia) of Woodward; sister, Carolyn (Rory) Davidson of Hennessey; sister, Dorothy (Rick) Fisher; brother, Norbert of Lakewood, Colorado; sister, Dolores (Mike) Cotton of Stillwater; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Garry Givens.
