Funeral services for Beatrice Evelyn Kroeker, 91 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Earl Stephenson officiating.

Beatrice was born October 13, 1921 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Jacob W. and Emma (Schmidt) Leppke and passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Weatherford Regional Hospital in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Beatrice was raised on a farm southeast of Corn, Oklahoma and attended Pleasant View School. She married Elmer Glen Kroeker on July 5, 1945 in Cordell, Oklahoma. After Beatrice and Elmer married they moved to Newton, Kansas. They had two children, a son, Jim and a daughter, Joyce. They later returned to western Oklahoma where they lived and raised their children in Corn, Clinton and Weatherford.

Beatrice was a homemaker and always enjoyed reading Bible stories to her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling and listening to music, and spent her time working on crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.

Beatrice is survived her son, Jim and daughter-in-law, Linda Kroeker of Weatherford and her daughter, Joyce and son-in-law, Curtis Austin of Erick, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Elmer Glenn. Memorials may be made to Corn Heritage Village of Weatherford, Oklahoma and the First Baptist Church of Weatherford.
