Barri Hope Ryan, Weatherford, OK, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on December 3 ^rd , 2021. She was born on June 17 ^th , 1976 in Hobart, OK, to Sam and Druanne (Tompkins) Ryan.

Barri Hope grew up in the Port community and graduated from Canute High School in 1994 as Valedictorian.  She received her Emergency Medical Technician training at Redlands Community College becoming a licensed EMT at age 19 while also completing her B.A. in Criminal Justice at SWOSU.  She continued her education at OU receiving a Master's in Human Relations.  She received her second Master's in Community Counseling from SWOSU.  She became a Licensed Professional Counselor and worked as a mental health counselor for several agencies in the Weatherford area.  She was currently employed at Red Rock Behavioral Health Services in Blaine County. Preceding her in death were her Grandparents Louis and Dosia Tompkins, Grandfather Joe Ryan, two Uncles, Barry Tompkins and Don Ryan.

Survivors include her parents Sam and Druanne Ryan, sister Starr, Grandmother Twila Ryan and Uncle Terry Ryan and family and Cheryl Ryan and family.
