Barbara P. Grossarth was born December 12, 1949, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Winfred W. Pettigrew and Pauline Adair and passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Select Specialty Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Barbara was raised and attended Jacksonville High School where she graduated.  Barbara worked as a front desk clerk and telephone operator. She moved to Oklahoma where she drove a semi-truck and worked as a yard manager for a pipeline company.  In 1990, Barbara met Gary H. Grossarth on a blind date and were married September 15, 1990.  They made their home in Oklahoma City.  They moved to Las Vegas for 11 years and returned to Oklahoma City in 2004.  Barbara enjoyed reading and traveling.  She will be remembered as a very loving and independent woman.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 34 years, Gary Grossarth of the home in Oklahoma City; grandson, Josh Boyd and his daughter, Ruby Boyd of Mustang.  She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Bradley Boyd; and three brothers, Ted Pettigrew, Harry Pettigrew and David Pettigrew.
