Barbara Gail (Roberts) Collier Eaves was born September 19,1940, to Jessie Pauline "Polly" (Reasoner) and Barnie Vernon Roberts in Floydada, Texas and passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021, at her home in Custer City, OK, having reached the age of 81 years and 3 months.
Barbara graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1959. On September 4, 1959, Barbara married Bill Collier in Amarillo, TX. They welcomed the birth of two sons, John and Chris and settled in Oklahoma in 1968. She worked at First National Bank in Custer City for several years.
After the passing of her husband, Barbara married Bill Eaves on May 12, 2003 in Vernon, TX.
Barbara loved spending time with her grandchildren, politics, watching the gospel on tv, reading, and playing golf. She loved to tell the story of when she made a hole-in-one. She was the best story teller and had a great sense of humor. She will forever be remembered as a "Cool Grandma" to her grandchildren.
Barbara is survived by her sons, John Collier and wife Dee and Chris Collier all of Custer City, OK; granddaughter, Melanie Deaton and husband Danny of Weatherford, OK; grandson, Kyle Collier and wife Jordan of Houston, TX; great-grandchildren, Destinee Collier , Daxton Deaton, Daelyn Deaton and Olivia Collier.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Collier; husband, Bill Eaves; mother, Polly Brown and step-father, Clinton Brown; father, Barnie Roberts and step-mother, Ruby Roberts; and a daughter-in-law, Traci (Fergason) Collier.
Memorials may be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
