Asher Wyatt Roper was born April 11, 2000, in Weatherford, OK to Brett and Kyler Ann (Penner) Roper and passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, at the age of 21 years, 4 months and 27 days.

Asher was raised in Weatherford and later the family moved to Broken Arrow. He finished high school in Fort Davis, Texas, graduating with the Class of 2018.  After graduation he attended Tulsa Community College and worked various jobs during his time there.  He enlisted in the U.S. Army in July of 2019 and served through 2021 before moving back to Broken Arrow.  Asher enjoyed outdoor adventures with his brother, Logan, and other family and friends.  In life, Asher would give the shirt off of his back and in death, he gave life to others through organ donation.  Memorials may be made to Teen Challenge of Oklahoma.

Asher is survived by his mother, Kyler Roper of Broken Arrow; his father, Brett Roper and wife, Jenny of Broken Arrow; his brother, Logan Roper of the home in Broken Arrow; paternal grandfather, Loren Roper and wife, Jamie of Weatherford; and maternal grandparents, Jim and Elaine Penner of Weatherford. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Donna Roper.
