Arlie was born October 18, 1927, in Weatherford, Oklahoma, to Louie and Lydia (Schreiner) Hamburger and passed away at home Thursday, June 18, 2015, in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Arlie was raised south of Weatherford and attended Missouri Grade School and graduated from Weatherford High School in 1945. During these school years, he lived and helped his father farm on their home place. In 1954, he married Pauline Lee of Eakly who preceded him in death.

In 1961, Arlie and Jerry began the Bell Station and ran an ice business that supplied many businesses in Weatherford. His brother, Jerry, worked with him. In 1962, Arlie and Jerry opened H & H Salvage on Washington Street and continued farming. In 1968, they moved the salvage to its current location, south on Custer Street until in 1980, they ended their partnership and Arlie then opened a used car business and wrecker service on west Main Street. He continued to be active in farming and ranching. Arlie was a member of the Zion Church and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior in 1975, along with his wife, Pauline. Pauline passed away in 1986. On November 12, 1993, he married Yolanda Hancock and they made their home in Weatherford. Arlie enjoyed going to sales and auctions, singing old fashion western music and old fashion gospel music, and was an avid reader of newspapers and sale papers. He enjoyed the Round-up Club, league bowling, and playing dominoes, only after his work was done.

Arlie is survived by his wife of 21 years, Yolanda Hamburger of their home in Weatherford, Oklahoma; two daughters, Gayleen Cook of Weatherford, Oklahoma and Cindy Beard and husband, Tim of Atlanta, Georgia; son, Leon Lacy and wife, Emily of Blanchard, Oklahoma; one sister, LaVerne Saylor of Weatherford, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Ray Buckley and wife, Mindy of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Shelbi Cook and Chris Elder of Hydro, Oklahoma, Brad Lacy of Bonham, Texas, Brooke Smith and husband, Joey of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Zak Beard of San Francisco, California, and Lauren OHara and husband, Joe of Atlanta, Georgia; and seven great-grandchildren, Will, Worth, and Wyatt Lacy of Bonham, Texas, Finn and Porter Smith of Blanchard, Oklahoma, and Maeme and Dodge, Elder of Hydro, Oklahoma.
