Antonio Garcia de la Cruz was born December 2, 1958, in Tejamen, Durango, Mexico to Jose and Elodia (de la Cruz) Garcia and passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018, at home in Weatherford, Oklahoma, at the age of 59 years, 5 months, and 25 days.

Antonio was raised and attended school in Durango, Mexico. On September 26, 1978, he married Hortencia Batres in Durango, Mexico. Antonio moved to the United States in 1988 and most recently worked for Danny Wright Pipeline. He will be remembered as a caring, loving, hardworking father who always provided for his family and loved to make his family laugh.

Antonio is survived by his wife, Hortencia Garcia of Clearwater, Florida; one son, Manuel Garcia and wife, Veronica of Clearwater, Florida; four daughters, Oralia Garcia and Manuel Sanchez of Oldsmar, Florida, Sandra Garcia and Juan Carlos Acosta of Oldsmar, Florida, Maria Antonia Garcia of Clearwater, Florida, and Guadalupe Garcia of Clearwater, Florida; one brother, Martin Garcia of Oldsmar, Florida; two sisters, Maria de la Luz Alvarado of Durango, Mexico and Josefina Garcia of Oldsmar, Florida; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
