Annette Yvonne Dahlgren passed away peacefully May 23 at Cordell Christian Home, at the age of 95 years, 1 month and 1 day. She was born April 22, 1926 in San Jose, CA. She was married to Charles Dahlgren who preceded her in death. She moved to Weatherford, OK in 2000.

Annette was artistic and enjoyed creating decoupage and ceramic works of art. She restored a carousel horse and other antiques that she enjoyed collecting. She loved working in her beautiful flower and vegetable gardens. While in Weatherford she became involved with the creation of the Heartland Museum. She restored many of the antiques on display today, and created several of the room displays. After the opening she served as a docent and organized the rotating exhibit.

She is survived by her son Rick Dahlgren of Weatherford, granddaughter Janna Dahlgren of Yukon, and granddaughter Sarah Dahlgren of Fort Worth, TX, her sister Wilma Dethke, niece Michelle Elliott both of Antioch, CA and niece Andrea Casillas of Mission Viejo, CA.

Annette was kind, loving, and always happy to lend a helping hand, she will be missed by all who were blessed to have known her.
