Angela Mae (Barnhill) Lucus was born on June 30, 1971 to Sammie and Loretta (Johns) Barnhill in Warner Robins, Georgia and passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at her home in Weatherford, Oklahoma.

Angela has lived in McComb, Mississippi and Charlotte, North Carolina before moving to Oklahoma in 1976. She was raised in Clinton and Weatherford where she attended Weatherford Public Schools. On April 15, 1989 Angela married Jammie Faron Lucus at Swan Lake, south of Eakly, OK and they made their home in Weatherford where they raised their three children—Cassidy, Braxton, and Grady. Angela will be remembered for her love of crafts and cooking—especially baking birthday cakes for her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and playing her music loud so she could sing and dance, and refinishing furniture for her home.

Angela is survived by her husband, Faron Lucus; three sons, Cassidy Lucus and partner Nick Hill, Braxton Lucus and wife Kadie, and Grady Lucus, all of Weatherford; mother, Loretta Barnhill of Weatherford; four siblings, Teresa Barnhill of Weatherford, Shane and wife Tina Barnhill of Yukon, Scotty Barnhill of Hannibal, Missouri, and Michael Barnhill of Hannibal, Missouri; six grandchildren, Rylee Lucus, Harrison Kelley, Kooper Lucus, Kyler Lucus, Sutton Lucus, and Haidyn Lucus. She was preceded in death by her father, Sammie Barnhill.
