Obituary

Alfred Elizondo was born October 5, 1958, in Big Spring, Texas to Gabriel and Maria (Benavidez) Elizondo and passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 59 years, 11 months, and 29 days.

Alfred was raised and attended school in Colony, graduating from Washita Heights High School in 1976. He earned a Bachelor degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Alfred was a correctional officer for the Hinton Prison and did tree trimming on the side with his nephew, Aaron Burchet. Alfred loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, friends and family. He also loved horticulture, reading his Bible and serving the Lord. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.

Alfred is survived by three sons, Jeremy Elizondo, Carlos Elizondo and Victor Elizondo all of Binger, Oklahoma; one step-son, Roland Rubio of Hinton, Oklahoma; one step-daughter, Felicia Stephenson of Binger, Oklahoma; four brothers, Gabriel Elizondo, Jr. of Morgantown, West Virginia, Daniel Elizondo of Weatherford, Oklahoma; Christopher Elizondo of Corn, Oklahoma, and Henarro Elizondo; six sisters, Maria Harper of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Beatrice Elizondo of Hobart, Oklahoma, Linda Donners of Joilett, Illinois, Margaret Elizondo of Watonga, Oklahoma, Rebecca Castrejon of Anadarko, Oklahoma, and Joyce Elizondo; twelve grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents.
